This summer, I’m rescuing my BMW motorcycle that h This summer, I’m rescuing my BMW motorcycle that has been sitting in storage in MA since 2022. Stage 0: Crossing Canada...by train! The Canadian runs 2775 miles (4466 kms) between Vancouver, BC to Toronto, ON on a 4-night-4-day journey. I’ve wanted to take this train for years, this was the perfect excuse to finally do it. Four days of breathtaking views, amazing meals, and conversations with people from around the world. The landscape transformed from the majesty of the Rockies to canola fields and grain elevators, then hills grew and trees returned, but different trees, and lakes, so many lakes. Moose, beaver, pelicans (!), and bison made an appearance. A real sense of the scale of Canada, and a preview of the terrain I intend to cross on my old motorcycle. See you in Toronto! 🚂👋🇨🇦
